Julia and Alice

Julia and Alice were close as two sisters could be, and as different as night and day.  A relationship that was competitive, contentious at best and often strained, they grew up together, worked at the local telephone office together, and moved to Fargo together.  From there, their lives would take decidedly different paths. This photo captures the two of them together in the early 1920's in Fargo.
