Ole's Confirmation in Norway
Ole was confirmed on the 17th of October, 1841 at Hægland's church in Fyresdal.
His residence at the time is identified as the Lien farm. This is the ancestral
home of his mother Kristi's family.

The 1890 Veterans' Schedule
Almost all of the original 1890 Census was lost in a basement fire in the Commerce building in Washington DC. However, the Veterans Schedule remained intact. Ole is listed as a Civil War Veteran:

The 1900 Census
Ole died in 1891. He is buried in Silver Creek Cemetery in Houston County.
