Burt Grover worked long and hard to build a complete descendants tree. This website sprang from his efforts, and the history he put together served as the cornerstone for all that visitors can now find here. At the 2001 family reunion, the family presented him with a plaque for all his diligent efforts over the years. He was quick to credit the previous work done by his father, Obert Grover, and cousin Oscar Olson. It is no exaggeration to say that this website 'stands on the shoulders of giants'!
If you are interested in receiving a paper copy of Burt's compilation, "Tarje and Geline and their Descendants" it is available for the cost of reproduction. It includes more family history and source information, along with brief biographies of all family members through 1995. He has also edited "A Grover Album" of family pictures that is available for copying charges. To contact him directly |
