Wanda's Son Gary Richard Sem 1954-1993

 

Gary Richard Sem was born on November 18, 1954 in Plentywood MT.  He was Wanda and Herman's third child. 

 

A "gentle giant" he stood over 6'4" and weighed more than 300 pounds.  He was a talented musician who studied both at home and abroad.  He would become a beloved band instructor and was a devoted son.

 

He was only 38 years old when he lost his battle with cancer on September 6, 1993 in Great Falls. He is buried in the family plot in Plentywood with his parents and sister, Carol.
