Marion was born shortly after Otto took over operation of the Grover homeplace.  She grew up on the farm, but was 'lured west' by her sisters in the 1930's.

Marion worked in the library in Bend, Oregon and for many years drove their bookmobile.

She lost her battle with cancer and died in her home in Bend at age 61.
